DESCRIPTION:Titel: Diversity in physics: A personal experience in the
Mexican context (DIPHER) Abstract: The celebrated Hermann Haken pursue
d and placed the foundations for synergetics theory and thus for the s
o-called grey theory. When applied to society in sciences\, diversity
appears as the backbone of any scientific community. Also\, in the cel
ebrated visionary article by the late Ettore Majorana: The value of st
atistical laws in physics and social science \, fundamental questions
arise to feed critical cornerstones in criticality theory and complexi
ty sciences. It means that from many corners on earth\, the concept of
diversity has been an itching feature in society\, regardless of the
human spectrum. In this lecture I rely on such contributions to interr
ogate about a social category as part of the diversity in sciences and
beyond. From Majorana and Haken theories one can raise the hypothesis
that talent and intelligence are statistically evenly distributed in
society. It is suggested\, then\, that talent and intelligence as huma
n features prompt diversity in even maner across the human spectrum. S
