The Faculty of Sciences at FAU
FAU’s Faculty of Science is one of the leading science faculties in Germany in terms of research strength. The Faculty of Science’s research spectrum covers both basic and applied research. Interdisciplinarity plays a major role in this context: the departments are not only interconnected, but also conduct joint research with the four other faculties as well as with national and international institutions.
The Faculty consists of six departments: Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Data Science, Geography and Earth Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics.
